The trade magazine "RFID im Blick" will present the annual international conference "The World of Identification: AIDC/RFID" on March 8th, 2012, in Hanover. At the Convention Center at CeBIT, the key themes on the program are aviation, industrial automation, logistics and transportation, and personal identification. The language of the conference is English.
High Demand for Innovation
Hardly any industry has focused as equally on technological advances as aviation. Under the Federal Association of Aviation and Space Industry (BDLI), the annual expenditure on research and development in 2010 was about 17 percent of industry sales. The aerospace industry relies on innovation. AIDC/RFID technology can improve upon processes in aviation logistics and maintenance. The deployed devices and transponders have to meet specific requirements in terms of robustness and security.
Industry 4.0
The Industry is in a transition. Innovations such as the self-controlling factory are becoming a reality; among experts, this leads to a debate over the "fourth industrial revolution." AIDC/RFID technologies provide an essential contribution to the improvement of efficiency and security in production. A unique part identification system across the entire production chain gives manufacturing companies a distinct, competitive advantage.
Increasing Flow of Goods
From the milk on the supermarket shelves to the newspaper - efficient logistics determine our everyday lives, despite being virtually hidden. Because of the increasing, global flow of goods, the logistic and transport sectors are always facing new challenges. The main players in the industry are continuously working to meet the increasing demands. When it comes to automating logistic processes and freight delivery, AIDC/RFID technologies are indispensable.
Need for Reliable Identification
More and more, we meet safety-relevant identification in everyday life. Whether on the ticket to a football match, when redeeming a voucher, or when using the new ID card, the need for reliable identification is increasing. AIDC/RFID technology can help satisfying security standards and reducing costs.
