Feig Electronic is once again a partner of the international conference, led by "RFID im Blick" at CeBIT in Hanover on March 8th, 2012. With the themes aviation, industrial automation, logistics, transport, and personal identification, the most current, in vogue topics are represented on the conference program. Together with real-life users, a technology expert from Feig Electronic will present the theme, "Secure Identities and Secure Objects through the Correct Use of RFID Technology." At the accompanying exhibition during the all-day event, contact partners from Feig Electronic will be available.

From Car Chassis to Blood Donor Card

"Technology changes processes; processes change the world," says Frithjof Walk, OBID sales director at Feig Electronic. "The Internationale Conference from 'RFID im Blick' shows participants ways into the future that are possible through AIDC/RFID technologies. From identification to data storage - in all the presented applications, RFID readers can be used. The RFID technology precisely provides information, from which component is placed on which car chassis, to which blood donor registered for a blood donation appointment, to which subway rider bought a ticket at which station."

Secure Identities = Secure Processes

"To ensure that collected data will be used only for its intended purpose and process, the presence of secure identities and secure objects is needed," continues Walk. A recent, yet very impressive, example of secure identities is the new identity card (nPa), which was issued in November 2010 in Germany. "But cryptographic processes in the use of RFID is nothing new. Secure processes can be implemented in many applications, and Feig Electronic wants to use this forum to reduce the existing lack of information about this topic through an intensive exchange of information from the perspectives of both technology providers and users."

An experienced solution partner for the trade, logistics, pharmaceutical, library, or event management fields, Feig Electronic has developed and manufactured RFID systems since 1991. The OEM supplier for system integrators and resellers offers readers and antennas in the frequencies of 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, and UHF (869-960 MHz).
