RFID Applications in Manufacturing

RFID technology is no longer dispensable in industrial production: there is now hardly any car plants that do not rely on the transmitting memory chips. Identification systems help companies to compete in increasingly dynamic markets. At the same time, the use of technology enables the efficiency of a modern automation architecture. At the international conference "The World of Identification: AIDC/RFID," Heinz-Peter Peters from Siemens will speak on the necessity of identification technologies for remaining competitive. His presentation will cover complete transparency in each business sector, the synchronization of goods and information flow, and the integrated control of production and supply chains.
