Schreiner LogiData is a partner of the International Conference, led by "RFID im Blick" at CeBIT in Hanover on March 8th, 2012. With the focal themes aviation, industrial automation, logistics and transport, and personal identification, the most current, in vogue topics are represented on the conference program. Frank Linti, Business Development Manager at Schreiner LogiData, will present the topic "Continuous RFID tracking of metallic and non-metallic objects across the production lifecycle". At the accompanying exhibition during the all-day event, competent experts from Schreiner LogiData will be available for discussions.

RFID Tracking in Manufacturing

The consistent and gapless tracking of objects in the production chain issues particular challenges to the key technology RFID. For example, the reading of tags that are attached to metal objects, is disrupted by counter energetic frequencies and oscillations. To achieve still high precision and a satisfying reading range, special RFID labels and technical procedures are required. If furnaces for example are involved in the production process such as in the body painting, a common RFID label will not come through the production chain. Therefore, extremely rugged tags that can withstand the high temperatures are to be used.

Solutions for Rough Conditions

Schreiner LogiData, the RFID-Competence Center of Schreiner Group, develops and produces innovative RFID solutions and systems. Its portfolio ranges from user-oriented technology consultancy and the selection of suitable hard- and software components, all the way to the manufacture of transponder solutions. One focus is the development of individual RFID solutions for difficult environmental conditions in the technical industry. For instance, the "((rfid))-HighTemp Label" by Schreiner LogiData ensures the reliable identification at high temperature production processes up to 220 degrees Celsius.
