No more barcode scanning, thus saving a lot of time detecting and managing data in the intralogistic flow of goods and materials: RFID makes it possible. The mobile terminal M260 UHF-RFID by ACD Elektronik only has to be within a radius of seven meters for this purpose.

The group was able to acquire Kathrein RFID as a partner for the further development. Both specialists have merged to develop a terminal for many fields of application. For instance, the RFID reader was integrated into a special backpack to ensure effective working.

In addition to RFID tags in the UHF frequency band of 865-870 Megahertz, the M260 UHF RFID reads all common data matrix and barcodes. Thus, the device meets all requirements from logistics, retail, and industry.

The RFID reader sends and receives at a frequency power of 500mW and is equipped with a patented X-Pol antenna design, allowing for secure and gapless detection. The M260 UHF RFID has a simple structure and is ruggedly constructed and, thanks to freely definable keys and accessories, it provides enough leeway for individual solutions.
