RFID tomorrow 2016

Combining the best of both worlds and supplying integrated solutions – Kathrein RFID and noFilis AutoID joined forces in 2016, uniting competences in RFID readers and antennas as well as software and system integration. At RFID tomorrow 2016, participants will not only be able to witness the benefits of this cooperation to the optimization of their own processes, but will be supplied with a wide range of know-how in a presentation by Franz Angerer on September 19th and the SpeedLab by Thomas Brunner on September 20th.

IoT presentation on Developer Day

In his presentation “Internet of Things: the right software plays a key role.“ in Forum 1, noFilis AutoID co-founder Franz Angerer will speak about rising requirements and expectations towards AutoID systems. This software is the link between hardware, processes and back end systems. With the right architecture and modularity, clients can master innovation and integration. The presentation establishes an overview of present-day RFID system integration based on several exemplary and successful roll outs. During his presentation, Angerer will show examples like object tracking or the CrossTalk app center and illustrate the way into the future of RFID technology.

SpeedLabs on User Day

Thomas Brunner, Head of Business Line Kathrein IoT Solutions, will present intelligent systems for real time monitoring, titled “New IoT solutions as a factor for successful integrated solutions”. The focus of both SpeedLabs will be:

  • Intelligent software platform CrossTalk 3.0 for hassle-free Industry 4.0 roll outs
  • Switch beam technology paves the way for passive RTLS systems
  • Smart shelf antennas enable intelligent eKanBan solutions
