RFID tomorrow 2016

Checkpoint Systems equips hundreds of stores and distribution centres for leading European fashion retailers with RFID solutions from supplier to customer.

For retailers, availability and traceability of their stock is key. Checkpoint Systems offers them a holistic solution – from the very first business case to worldwide implementation and further. Checkpoint's portfolio consists of RFID hardware, labels and software as well as IT services and consulting. With RFID solutions, retailers can precisely and instantly keep tabs on how much stock they have and where exactly it is located.

At RFID tomorrow, participants can learn in a presentation and a SpeedLab by Checkpoint Systems, how RFID solutions add value to the supply chain and help implement omni-channel strategies.

Supply chain solutions offer benefits in fashion and retail

In their presentation on Developer Day, titled “Raising added values in the retail supply chain”, Dominik Brosch, Global Account Manager Specialty Apparel, and Lothar Grunenberg, Service Support Director Europe, Checkpoint Systems, will talk about the use of RFID tunnel solutions in leading retailers' distribution centres. “RFID enables complete process automation from the distribution centre all the way to the point of sale. Volume deliveries are scanned automatically for their exact contents”, explains Dominik Brosch. Exclusive insight into real-world applications show how RFID implementation can increase productivity and precision.

SpeedLab on Business Intelligence

Checkpoint Systems' SpeedLab, titled “RFID–Based 'Sense + Response' Solution for Analytics and Predictive”, demonstrates how business intelligence solutions create omni-channel shopping experiences. “We show how retailers can optimise decision processes, for example by using our customisable dashboards”, Brosch says, “based on RFID solutions, out-of-stock situations can be predicted and prevented.“
