RFID tomorrow 2016

Winckel knows what a system integrator needs to do today in order to provide its customers with application solutions for the "Smart Factory" of tomorrow. At the RFID tomorrow 2016 the long-established company gives an insight into the future of system integration.

For over 150 years Winckel stands for technological innovation. Due to the fact that the company has invested in RFID and in technical expertise early on, Winckel is now one of the leading providers of "Smart Factory" solutions in Europe. At the RFID tomorrow 2016, the system integrator presents complete solutions for real-time management in production and logistics and advises participants about AutoID application solutions.

Lecture on RFID system integration

On Developer Day, September 19, participants learn all about system integration in the lecture "Demands on RFID system integration: What does an integrator provide, and where are the limits?" by Thorsten Braas, Sales Manager, Winckel. Braas explains where the core tasks of a system integrator are located today. From hardware selection, to measurements at the customer site, to the inclusion of data standards, to the implementation of middleware and device management, to interface adaptation – the requirements for an RFID system integrator have changed considerably and call for a strong IT expertise. The lecture uses examples of successfully rolled out applications to give an insight into the inner workings of today's RFID system integration.

SpeedLab on real-time process management

On User Day, September 20, Winckel presents modern supply chain management in the SpeedLab "Transparency and Management of Complex Processes in Real-Time" by Thorsten Braas. Processes can be monitored and managed in real-time via the use of AutoID applications. A good visualization helps at the application level, which provides decision-relevant data. The user can make faster, smarter decisions through real-time alerts, emergency protocols and process predicting.
