RFID tomorrow 2016

At RFID tomorrow 2016, Omni-ID presents a new software solution and RFID view tags.

Omni-ID is renowned for offering highly resistant RFID transponders that are used in demanding industries such as automobile, chemical and pharmaceutical. “As a First Player in on-metal RFID tags, Omni-ID possesses the most complete catalogue of industrial RFID products on the market”, says David Beit-On, Sales Director EMEA, Omni-ID. At RFID tomorrow, the industry pioneer will present the newest addition to its portfolio, named ProVIEW. The software solution provides the ability to track assets and send dynamic, real-time instructions to the tag.

“This completely changes the auto-identification industry landscape. ProVIEW effectively replaces the 40-year old paper-based Kanban system and provides manufacturing with the process agility to competitively address a highly competitive 'on-demand' marketplace”, Beit-On concludes.

SpeedLab on innovative RFID View Tags

In Omni-ID's SpeedLab on User Day, September 20th, titled “RFID View Tags, visual and bidirectional interface for processes in the age of Industry 4.0 and IOT”, René Wermke, RF System Application Manager at Omni-ID, will explain the importance of RFID to overall IoT solutions. RFID View Tags are transponders with additional functionality such as extended memory, additional sensors directly driven through UHF until direct visual feedback or even displays.
