Zebra Technologies, a market leader in rugged mobile computers, barcode scanners and barcode printers enhanced with software and services to enable real-time enterprise visibility, today announced the next generation of thermal desktop and mobile printers 35 years after introducing its first barcode printer known as the “Zebra Printer”. The new printers are enabled by Print DNA, a software suite of applications, utilities and developer tools. Zebra’s new ZD420/ZD620 thermal transfer desktop printers, ZQ320 Series mid-range mobile printers and Print DNA software suite together help companies sense and analyze the status and performance of their printer fleet in real time. The new line of barcode printers and printer software deliver a superior printing experience through better performance, simplified remote management and easier integration.
Zebra Technologies, a worldwide leader in rugged mobile computers, barcode scanners and barcode printers enhanced with software and services to enable real-time enterprise visibility, introduced the new ZT600 and ZT510 industrial printers designed to withstand the harshest environments while delivering superior print quality and uptime. Zebra also announced Printer Profile Manager Enterprise, a browser-based remote printer management solution for Zebra Link-OS® enabled printers that greatly reduces cost and management time.
Fast, flexible, reliable: the T6000 presents the next generation of thermal barcode printers for industrial applications by Printronix Auto ID. Developed for midrange markets, the printer offers extended functionalities such as direct PostScript and PDF printing or an optional RFID module. At Logimat 2016, interested customers were able to have a first look at the product innovation. Now “RFID im Blick Global” speaks with Rolf Diebenbusch, Printronix Auto ID, about the technical features and benefits of the T6000.

The requirements for modern identification systems are increasingly defined by ERP architectures. Compared to a large percentage of RFID systems which are equipped either with a serial or a proprietary port, today only a few percent are equipped with a slow and non-network-ready protocol. The reason lies in a constant need for optimisation and efficiency gains in a production and logistics environment.
